With the incomparable advantages in the mechanical,chemical,thermal properties,diamond has been playing an important role in tool field. Especially in recent years,with the rapid development of diamond industry, diamond raw materials quality is improving and the price is going down,these further promote the application of diamond in the tool field. Diamond play a irreplaceable role in precision,ultra precision processing field.However, because the diamond itself has some unique properties such as high hardness and high brittleness,making it very difficult to obtain high-precision and low roughness value of the diamond surface required shape in conventional mechanical diamond lapping, so that carrying out the research of diamond precision lapping technology has a good application prospects and practical value.First, based on the conclusion of monocrystalline diamond mechanical polishing technology research by other scholars or researchers, studied the new technology of diamond elastic floating grinding process parameters such as system elastic, grinding dish jump, grinding speed and grinding pressure to the influence of diamond surface by experimental analysis method. The main purpose of floating thoughts on diamonds grinding is make diamond purify mainly with small cleaves way by solving the impact of the workpiece because of grits in the grinding process. Experiments showed that by reasonable selection of processing parameters after processing process fully stable, processing surface is very slick, even, without obvious machining features. Therefore, this processing method is suitable for ultra-precision grinding.From the diamond surface after elastic floating grinding, we can get the conclusion that the changing impact mainly from grinding plate jump and elastic beam vibration. These interferences both vibration and impact will make relative motion between the lapped diamond tools and grinding disc so that diamond tools can not achieve the required processing precision and surface quality. Nevertheless, the stiffness of elastic beams have a serious influence on system's vibration response.The beam in different rigidity have different deformation by the impact of grits,and the vibration of the beam also will be different because of the impact by grits in different ways. In order to eliminate the influencethat vibration and impact produce to surface quality of diamond lapping, this dissertation did some work as follows:Under the floating grinding system, studied the different rotational speeds, different load to the influences of elastic beam vibration and diamond surface quality by adopting single-factor experimental method.Do some research of grinding surface on different stiffness.Analyzed the cause of end jump and optimized the devices, increased the elastic pad and made the end surface of grinding disc leveling, greatly improved lapping quality of diamond.Researched the influence of the beam to diamond grinding surface quality by transverse impact and longitudinal impact.
