With the progress of industrial manufacturing, stability requirements of the mechanical parts, reliability and service life are also increasing. In the actual working environment, the workpiece will often be subjected to extreme conditions such as heavy load, high frequency vibration, and fatigue. These extreme conditions will cause premature failure of the surface of the part, which will cause serious problems in sealing, material accuracy, service life and reliability. In order to improve the service life and reliability of the material under different working conditions,a diamond-like carbon film is deposited by magnetron sputtering deposition technology to modify the surface of the material. To investigate the service performance of the diamond-like carbon film on the surface of the material under extreme conditions,it is necessary to study its dynamic impact friction-static fatigue load wear characteristics. In this paper, the dynamic impact friction-static fatigue load wear characteristics of the DLC,HDLC and WC HDLC films on the surface of H62 and GCr15 steel are studied through experiments, testing and theoretical analysis.First, three different diamond-like carbon films were deposited on the surface of H62 and GCr15 steel by magnetron sputtering deposition technology, and the composition and mechanical properties were analyzed.XPS was used to analyze the sp~2/sp~3hybrid carbon bond ratio in the film. The hardness and elastic modulus of the film are tested by nanoindentation, and the elasticity of the film layer is calculated. The scratch tester is used to evaluate the adhesion of the film. The sliding wear experiment was carried out at room temperature to evaluate the anti-wear performance of the film, and the failure difference of different types of film under tangential force was analyzed. The dynamic impact wear characterization method was used to evaluate the impact wear resistance and reliability of DLC,HDLC and WC HDLC films and GCr15 and H62 substrates. The failure mechanism and impact wear resistance of different film-base structures in the impact dynamic load damage test are discussed. In this study, the impact dynamic response and failure mechanism of the film layer were compared through the measurement of impact force and morphological analysis. In order to explore the failure mechanism of DLC,HDLC and WC HDLC films on different substrates under static fatigue loads and the fatigue resistance of the films, fatigue equipment was used to perform variable load fatigue experiments under normal loads.Compare and analyze the load-displacement curve during the experiment. In addition, the impact crater was studied by characterization techniques such as 3D optical microscope,Raman and EDX.Finally, the performance of the film and the experimental results are compared and analyzed, the relationship between the mechanical properties of the film and the failure mechanism is discussed, and the reasons for the failure of the film are analyzed.Revealing the relationship between impact behavior and wear mechanism provides reference basis and research ideas for effective and feasible protection schemes.
