Mine water hazard has always been one of the main problems with safety and production facing in karst mining areas in North China coal mine. Water inrush and the submergence incidents have occurred many times in history, not only coal mines and the state resulted in significant economic losses, also had an adverse impact on society. For most of the coal mining have exploited a long time Hanxing region, after years of mining, mining of shallow coal seams have been exhausted, the mine will face the reality of the deep extension problems with the mining depth increased, more and more complicated hydrogeological conditions, threatened by the increasing degree of water damage, the situation of prevention water is grim.Part of the coal mines and the constructing mine ,because of increasing mining depth, will also face a large floor to withstand water pressure, an increased risk of sudden adverse situation can be happened. The development of these mines, it is necessary to under mine the resources and mining skill conditions, the shallow and deep mine take over job, it has been reasonable arrangements successfully to achieve a certain scale of production, to maintain a certain length of service, enhance economic efficiency; also considering mining and the recent and long-term flooding relationships, to develop economical, technical feasibility of the mine water control measures to achieve safe production and economic harmony.The paper combine the specific Y mine geological and hydrogeological conditions, analysing pressure on mining conditions and the threat degree of damage by water, and 4# coal district of water inrush risk has been safely assessed. On account of different water damage, using scientific method to detect and analysis, making project design of water proofing (such as project design of water proofing before driftage or coal mining and during coal mining).
