Centrifugal compressor is one of the most important mechanisms in large-scale petrochemical plants, and it's necessary and important to monitor its running states. The state monitoring and fault diagnosis system can provide the causes of all faults and abnormalities. The state monitoring and fault diagnosis system can solve the problem of machinery fault identification.Firstly, the method of the large-scale rotating machinery condition monitoring and fault diagnosis are Introduced in this dissertation. The centrifugal compressor structure,and causes of failure are detail analyzed. The design scheme of centrifugal compressor state monitoring and fault diagnosis system is proposed in the dissertation.The fault diagnosis system of centrifugal compressor is designed according to the scheme. The system includes data acquisition, signal processing and fault diagnosis. The system design is focused on three aspects:(â… ) The detecting sensors are selected based on measurement method, measurement requirements and, the cost-effective.(â…¡) The entire cycle of synchronous data acquisition modes are used.(â…¢) The adapt signal process methods are selected for the system.At last, the system is applied in the centrifugal compressor of Jilin Petrochemical Company. The results shows that the system can achieve the desired goals and satisfy the industry requirements.
