Mine ventilation system is the important component of mine for safety production. At present, There are eleven middle sections in simultaneous production status in dahongshan copper mine, ventilation system has sixty 11kw~110kw axial flow fans on the underground, they all adopt direct start, high-speed operation and artificially inspection method with the daily management, so not only the daily maintenance management workload is big and labor intensity is very high, but also they produce huge energy consumption.This paper combined with equipment configuration and management status of Dahongshan's ventilation system, used the ventilation of Midimo mine area as research object, comprehensive used the technology of sensor, computer, network communication, automatic control and security alerts to test research. Results of this study are as follows:(1) With the environment and communication of Midimo mining area, equipment status and operation conditions, the overall framework program of fan real-time control system based on the distributed control system technology was designed, This program used each fan as an intelligent control node, which was responsible for the acquisition of parameters and real-time control of fan in the district. Four control nodes were organic united in the upper computer so as to accomplish the automatic real-time control of fan in whole region.(2) The control circuit of control cabinet was designed. The equipment selection for the sensor, controller and inverter were also done. This provided hardware support for the design of fan remote monitoring and control system in Midimo mining area.(3) The control logic and algorithms of PLC and upper computer was designed. Based on this, PLC low-level software was programmed by using C language. And upper computer software system was also designed and developed by using the king view software. It realize the environmental parameters online acquisition, site and remote automatic control of ventilation system and Real-time frequency conversion of ventilation equipment;(4) Midimo mine area is a small rice and its ventilation system is relatively independent, Based on the experimental study of it, we accumulated a wealth of experience in complex conditions about inverse-rotation brake, frequency conversion start, frequency control of motor speed and the security protection of Control system.The result of this study was applied in Midimo mine area and also will be popularized and used in mine ventilation control system. It has produced a great promotion for increase of security management and energy saving. It also made contribution to the digital process of the entire mine and made it step forward for a very important step.
