In this paper, the current state of Open-Architecture CNC system at home and abroad is investigated, the advantages and disadvantages of system architecture and developing platform in prevalent numerical control system is discussed, Windows CE.NET is chosen to be the soft-developing platform of new numerical system, and the reason why such platform is superior to others is introduced. The main content of this paper is the key technologies of real-time control of CNC system based on Windows CE.NET.The operating system architecture, the registry, the process, the thread and memory management of Windows CE.NET is elaborated in this paper for the reason that the study of new numerical control system is based on such theories. According to the conceptual model of new numerical control system, the hardware platform of numerical control system and the software platform based on Windows CE.NET are both presented. In light of the characteristics of high systematic real time, the achievement of the cutting-off real-time control from the mechanism of the cutting-off real-time control of Windows CE.NET is proposed in this paper. In order to implement the rel-time control of numerical control system, the driver of a timer card is developed by applying stream-interface driver model after the style of device driver is analyzed in this paper. Further, the interpolation arithmetic and the speed control are discussed. Finally, the software structure of new numerical control system is analyzed, the lower real-time control in this system is presented, and the module of interpolation is realized.
