Due to human activities disturbance, the carbon flow rapidly in the atmosphere from the sedimentary stratum carbon stock, which broke the balance of the original carbon in the natural ecosystem. It caused the greenhouse effect, which lead to the global climate change and a series of catastrophic problems. How to deal with the serious climate change and seek the theoretical foundation of the human sustainable development became the hot topic in the international community at present. The account of "Carbon footprint" has an important meaning for forecasting global climate change, coping with the challenge of climate change, guiding social and economic structure.This article tries to propose the quantification computational method of "the carbon footprint" based on existing analysis and conformity of the absent material in detailed database of IPCC country greenhouse gas emissions. Simultaneously based on that established "the carbon footprint" evaluation model, we will study the development tendency of regional economy condition. Combined with the actual situation of Yanling county, launched the "carbon footprint" analysis and evaluation, we can draw the following conclusions:I Establishments and improvements of computational method for "the carbon footprint"This article divided the research into four parts, which are the energy consumption account, the crops and the soil account, the poultry emissions account and the solid reject account, to carry on separate computation. During the process, it proposed the concrete formula as well as the related quantification parameter according to the IPCC country greenhouse gas emissions detailed list target.II The computation of "the carbon footprint" for Yanling from 2002 to 2009Based on the above method, we carried on the computation of "the carbon footprint" for Yanling from 2002 to 2009. The computed result demonstrates a negative value, which explained that Yanling had a negative CO2 emission in past years and the entire Yanling area contributed carbon absorbing effect. And energy as the main consumption account of the carbon footprint had an increasing tendency year by year, which showed that the energy consumption was a primary factor affecting the Yanling's CO2 emission.â…¢Dynamic analysis and assessment on "the carbon footprint" for Yanling from 2002 to 2009The elevation of the energy consumption increased 40524.73 tons from 97767.17t in 2002 to 138291.9t in 2009.From 2002-2009 crops and the soil had a negative value for "the carbon footprint", indicating that during the past 8 years crops and the soil in Yangling existed as the carbon sink. But its condition of development was worse year by year, compared with that in 2002, "the carbon footprint" in 2009 increased 41302 tons."The carbon footprint" for poultry excrement had a slowly declining trend, dropped about 10022.84 tons from 33212.26 tons in 2002 to 23189.42 tons in 2009. This indicated that a successful adjustment for industrial structure in Yanling, which reduced the breeding livestock. With the development of environmental protection and cultivation technology, the poultry emissions presented a reduced tendency.The solid waste had an obviously declining trend of Carbon emission, dropped 7966.28t from 77207.69t in 2002 to 69241.41tin 2009.IV Dynamic analysis on "the carbon footprint" of unit of GDP Yanling assumed an increased tendency of "the carbon trail" for unit of GDP from 2002 to 2009, which showed that an additional unit of GDP generated an increasing carbon emission year by year.V Detailed appraisal of Low-carbon economic development According to "the carbon footprint" evaluation model analysis, from 2003 to 2009, When Yanling had a positive GDP growth; the growth rate had been higher than the increment rate of "the carbon footprint" which was also a positive value. That phenomenon showed that during 2003-2009, the economic system had experienced a "relative decoupling process", that was also called relative "low-carbon economy".Based on the above computation as well as analysis, according to the insufficiency which existed in the carbon emissions in Yanling, this article proposed the following suggestions:Establish a consummative legal framework for "the carbon footprint" economy; Adjust the industrial structure and optimize the energy structure; Enhance the carbon sink diligently; sparkplug the national participation and advocate low-carbon life style.Then, look in to the of "the carbon footprint"...
