Because transparent polypropylene behaves fine capability, it has been used for transparent wrapper, iatrical appliance and home appliance.This Research use bench-scale polymerizer to produce random copolymer of ethylene and propylene. The copolymer has better performance than homopolymer. Then append a few of nucleating agent to improve the transparency of the copolymer. The final product satisfy request.The final product has the same performance with the M800E and the M1600E product by Shanghai Petrochemical Company. The melt flow rate(MFR)is about 10g/10min. The haze is under 10%. The impact strength is above 5kJ/m2. The tensile strength is above 35MPa. The breaking elongation is above 700%.
