For the skin wound treatment, new surgical dressing used biomaterial has the importantly actual significance. Because of special and excellent properties, chitosan became the hotspot in this research field. In this papers, the chitosan-based composite films are multielement blend modified films by adding other components and druggery, and they are mainly used as new surgical dressing.The content and harvest of this research including: 1. Elementary properties research on chitosan and other components: In this part, we have discussed the dissolution and mixing properties of chitosan and other components. We also measured the deacetylating degree and viscosity-average molecular weight of chitosan, and the results are 95.98% and 5.96×105~6.18×105. 2. The systematic preparation of many films from one to four components: On the base of fully understanding of elementary properties, according the order of rotating-film, water solubility, water absorption, water vapor permeability, mechanical properties, we filtered step by step and finally determined the CGPGL0.6 film has the best combination property. We also systematically studied the change rule of performances which affect by polyvinyl alcohol, gelatin, glycerol. 3. The preparation, performance test, characterization of drug-loaded films: we chose cerium nitrate as drug, producted drug-loaded films used quaternary modified films as carriers. We finally found that the drug-loaded films have good properties. The result is good for the researches of new surgical dressing and medical value of rare earth compound. For the better performance test and characterization, we quote YY/T 0471 national standard, and characterized by FIR,XRD,SEM The results show that the addition disturbed crystallization of every components, and also reinforced compatibility of every components.
