As the prick up of human industrialization day by day, the energy crisis must bring great worry to human being in a forseeable future. After"greenhouse effect"has been found, people came into force the increasing emission of carbon dioxide. How to recycle CO2 in flue gases by low cost and high efficiency became a big problem. Many researchers are interested in Pressure swing adsorption which has full of advantage. All kinds of different adsorbents have been synthesized. My experiment is mainly use some adsorbents like Silica, active carbon and MCM-41. We made the fixed bed experiment using these materials to search their capability of adsorption. The mesoporous silica material, MCM-41, is synthesized by my own lab. Take its advantage of highly ordered pore size distribution and large surface area, this material are used to the adsorption area more and more in recent years. Using the way of hydrothermal synthesis, mixed TEOS and CTAB in an appropriate proportion, though the reaction of aging crystallization and calcinatory. The surface area of products are around of 1145m2/g, pore size is about 2.4nm calculated by the method of BJH. Pore volume is 0.7ml/g.And then we modified these adsorbents, silica was coating with MDEA, active carbon coating with H2O, and MCM-41 coating with TEA. These modified sorbents is advantageous over the others in that it is a selective sorbent of CO2 and can be regenerated easily at the ambient temperature. Modified silica and MCM-41 had a good result to separate the mixed gases. The biggest separation coefficient of TEA-modified MCM-41 is 16 when Rc(coating ratio)=1...
