With the constant development of science and technology, the quantity and the quality of steel strip production have already become the first targets. Steel strip thickness accuracy is one of the main two quality norms of the thickness and shape,and gauge control is one of the two key technologies in the rolling field. Therefore, the research how to improve the control precision of rolling mill thickness is very necessary.We should have a profound analysis on the various factors of affecting mill thickness control.Oil source system as the power source of the mill control system, is one of the important factors of influencing control accuracy, thus it has important theoretical significance and practical reference value that we research into the method of improving the rolling thickness control precision from rolling mill oil source system .The research object of this thesis is mainly about 300mm reversing cold rolling mill of Yanshan University, for the purpose to analyse some parameters of oil source system having an effect on mill the position control accuracy effect and do the main works as follow.(1)In-depth analysis of the 300 mill hydraulic system structure, and exploration of the internal structure of each part of oil source system elements and operation principles. In addition, mathematic model is established for the next step simulation experiment .(2)Using the mathematical model that has been established. Firstly, establish various part of simulation model by Matlab/Simulink software respectively, through the relationship between the parameters, connect the coupling and form rolling mill oil source - hydraulic press system. Meanwhile, analyse the influence of pump pressure on the mill and the accumulator of different volume and pressure before valve to the position control accuracy by simulation, and conclude the influence law. (3)Taking 300 mill as experimental platform, check the simulation model and the accuracy of simulation results, and do quantitative analysis of test, and discuss the relationship between cooperation pump pressure, accumulator before valve parameters and the position control system. Optimize the oil source system, thus improve accuracy of the control system.
