Polyurethane adhesives are produced and used wildly. Now environmental protective adhesive become the mainstream in the adhesive country, with reinforcement of consciousness and improvement of environment laws. High-solid polyurethane adhesive lies between solvent and non-solvent adhesive type. From the environmental perspective, high-solid polyurethane adhesive contains a small amount organic solvent of harmful to environment; it equal the traditional adhesive in performance. High-solid polyurethane adhesive has become one of the developing hotspot in adhesive, now.The paper introduces the developing history and the progress of study, expounds the theories of preparation and analyzes the research achievement. It includes:(1) Reaction adopts solution polymerization and adds monomer and initiator mixed heterogeneous, by which high solid hydroxyl acrylic resin is synthesized. It is tested Mn and Mw of synthetic resin by GPC. At the same time, it is studied influence of type and amount of initiator, and the reaction temperature, and concentrarions of 2-BE, and solvent on performance of synthetic resin.(2) It exists a few of side reactions in PU synthesis processing,that contain the reaction between -NCO and carbamates especially. The side reaction affects the accuracy of molecular design of adhesive. Reseaching the reaction kinetics is beneficial to effectively controlling the side reactions. Kinetics model is created. It is analysised m(-NCO) and m(-OH) in different reaction temperature and reaction time. then we can calculate Q in different reaction temperature and reaction time by Kinetics model and Arrhenius formula. it is found that the side reactions are effectively controlled, when the reaction temperature is 80℃and the below.(3) Synthetic PU is modified with high solid hydroxyl acrylic resin, and we can find that PA reacted with PU by FT-IR analysis. It is studied influencing factors on performance of adhesive, such as polyol, and the ratio of mMDI/mPAPI and n-NCO/n-OH, and the content of PA and HEA.
