Along with the unceasing development of science and technology and unceasing progress of modernization, mining enterprises have larger demand to their own automation and information construction. Although many schools and scientific research units in mine automation and information construction have done some research work and made some achievements. The further applications have not been expanded for some reasons.This paper does a lot of research on blasting design work of open-pit mines. It points out some automation theories and methods of the blasting design. On the basis of which, it makes the secondary development of AutoCAD using Object ARX and Visual Studio advanced development platform. Finally, it successfully completes the open-pit mine blasting software.First, this paper put forward the discrete graphics triangle of drilling using the principle and the method of triangulations, forming triangular mesh, and then forming the equivalent point when such as track chart blasting.Second, blasting operation is an important process on Open-pit mining. It directly affects the production efficiency and cost. This paper puts forward the automation design on open-pit mine to reduce the labor intensity, shorten the time for design and improve the production efficiency. It will make the blasting design more efficient.Third, based on relevant theories and on the application of method and theory of system development, this paper plans and designs the open-pit mine blasting design system's overall structure. Finally, it successfully develops open-pit mine blasting design system software.Fourth, this paper is proposed a method based on AutoCAD to calculate the fragmentation. This method is simple, practical, and can satisfy the essential requirements for the calculation of the fragmentation.Fifths, the paper evaluates the blasting effect by virtue of the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation technology. In the end, the blasting design software completes installation and testing in JinDuiCheng mining. The results show that the system runs in good condition and achieves the expected effect and purpose.This system is designed for Jinduicheng open-pit mine, but at the same time it can be applied to other metals open-pit mine in blasting design.
