As a typical clean production technology, sulfosuccinate combined fatliquor existed some shortcomings such as stability,lightfastness and other some fatliquoring performances. This paper maked a study to solve these problems and mainly consists of four parts.①Half-saturated fatty acid diethanolamide was synthesized by two step reactions from semi-saturated fatty acid and diethanolamide. Effects of various reaction parameters have been investigated. The result showed that, in such a proportion the total molar ratio of semi-saturated fatty acid to diethanolamine is 1.0:1.1. In the first step acylation reaction, mole ratio of semi-saturated fatty acid to diethanolamine is controlled at 1.0:0.9. The time of 3.0 h is essential to this reaction at 135℃. In the second step aminolysis reaction, the remaining amount of diethanolamine is added and the reaction proceeded at 90℃for 4.0h, and the process is carried out in the presence of catalyst in a mass fraction of 1.5% semi-saturated fatty acid. Under these conditions, the yield of semi-saturated fatty acid diethanolamide is 89.52%.②W-SCF fatliquor was prepared by esterification reaction and sulfonation reaction with start material semi-saturated fatty acid diethanolamide. The effects of molar ratio,time and temperature was studied on esterification reaction and sulfonation reaction. The optimum reaction conditions are the molar ratio of semi-saturated fatty acid diethanolamide to maleic anhydride is 1:1.05, the time of 2.0 h is essential to esterification reaction at 90℃; the molar ratio of maleic acid monoester to sodium sulfide is 1:1.05, the time of 3.0 h is essential to sulfonation reaction at 80℃. The stability and lightfastness of W-SCF are better than HL-PA, but fatliquoring performance of W-SCF is poor.③ALC-SCF Fatliquor was prepared by esterification reaction and sulfonation reaction with start mixed materials semi-saturated fatty acid diethanolamide and Lanolin and amidation vegetable oil. In order to improve compatibility and stability, added dispersant No. 10 white oil to the start mixed materials. The reaction conditions of ALC-SCF is the same with W-SCF.The mass of mixed materials is alkanolamide 45g,Lanolin50g,Amidation vegetable oil10g.The stability and permeability of ALC-SCF are better than HL-PA, it gives the leather good flexibility,yellowing resistance and fullness.④Decolorization on ALC-SCF of sulfonated succinate was studied with hydrogen peroxide as decolourant by two different decoloring methods (decolor of lanolin fatliquor products and bleaching during the preparation process of lanolin fatliquor). Effects of various reaction parameters have been investigated , these parameters are pH,temperature and the amount of hydrogen peroxide and the stability of the products obtained by different decoloring methods. the effect of hydrogen peroxide on main components fatliquor is analyzed. The result showed that when the amount of hydrogen peroxide added to lanolin fatliquoring agent is 6% (based on the starting material mass in the atliquoring agent), pH=4, the time of 90min is essential to this reaction at 70℃, the decoloration result is the best used the decoloring during the preparation process of lanolin fatliquor.
