Selective Laser Melting (SLM) is one kind of new rapid prototyping technique whichthe mid-1990s raised. This technology used the laser to carry on the ma nufacture, the goalis ma nufacture complex meta l parts with high density and good mecha nical properties,made up for the insufficiency in the existing rapid prototyping technique. At present thistechnique has become the research key in overseas studies about rapid prototyping, but thehome is also at the exploration stage.The SLM key technologies including three aspects: the SLM insta lla tion,the meta lpowder materia l and the technologica l parameter establishment. Its ma in technicaldifficulty is easy to have the balling phenomenon in the forming process, thus affects theSLM forming densification and the internal structure. This article unifies present domesticand foreign research present situation, selects the stainless steel powder for the experimentmateria l, ma inly discusses the SLM forming quality influencing factor from two aspects.On the one hand studies from the SLM meta l materia l characteristic , through theselection appropriate technologica l parameter, under the similar technologica l conditions,carries on the formed experiment separately to three kind of 316L stainless steel powdermateria l, to forms the intensity carries on tests and observes its micro appearance, theanalysis powder size distribution, the powder grain shape and the powder ingredient isspecia lly the oxygen content to forms the quality influence.On the other hand establishes the research from the SLM technologica l parameter, theconsidera tion parameter including the laser power, the scanning velocity, the scanning way,the scanning spacing, powder level thick ness. The ma in confirmation experiment has thesingle channel to scan formed, the single-la yer scanning forming, the block body scanningto form three kinds, is in fixes other technologica l conditions in the situation, changesalone a technologica l parameter, the analysis result summa rizes this parameter to form thequality the influence rule.In obtains the powder characteristic and the technologica l parameter after the SLMquality influence rule, this article from the SLM forming process the molten bathformation, the shape, the superimposition's angle has analyzed these influence rule formation reason.Moreover this article also has conducted the exploring research to SLM and the hotisosta tic pressing's compound forming technique. Some kind craft route of compoundforming technique has analyzed for each 's feasibility, and designs through SLM forms thebuilt-in pine to insta ll the meta l powder the meta l to steal by gradua l encroachment, passeshot isosta tic pressing processing to produce the compact components fina lly again. Provesthrough the experiment, the density ma y enhance the SLM forming after hot isosta ticpressing technology processing.
