It's an earlier theoretical development to design and manufacture of liquid air hammer, and get some economic benefits in the course of using equipment, but there are some problems. In this thesis, target at liquid air hammer blow to the energy shortage and the control accuracy is not high, using the method of logical time control, and using the programmable logic controller to replace the original relay. To prove the feasibility of time control. Firstly, introduce the fluid air hammer working principle and analysis the blow process concrete steps of liquid air hammer, and analysis the drop and lift process of liquid air hammer. Then analysis the blow process of liquid air hammer, establish the kinematic equations of liquid air hammer , using MATLAB software, before and after the hammer and the hammer against the trajectory simulation, derived the time range of liquid air hammer movements. Introduce the control system working principle of liquid air hammer, analysis the functions and characteristic of valve for the hydraulic system, target at the shortcomings of origin operating valve is a long time and can not automatically return to the beginning,Using the cartridge valves by hydraulic control to replace the original main operating valve, in ensuring of the function unchanged premise, design the cartridge valve and hydraulic simulation to the cartridge valve by using AMESim software. The beating process is divided into four stages of liquid air hammer falling, beating, bouncing, and lifting. According to the working principle and the design parameters of liquid air hammer itself, with computer aided software, got time range of each strike stage. The time range of falling is 0.12~0.17s,The time range of beating 0.006s,The time range of rebounding is 0.25~0.3s.Select and design a reasonable of electrical and hydraulic control components, to meet the technical requirements of time control. And according to kinematics simulation results of liquid air hammer and cartridge valves, Obtained liquid air hammer blow process of each time range, Using time control method of the programmable controller, redesigned control system of liquid air hammer, in order to achieve the purpose of provide control precision and strike of liquid air hammer in any height.Using the new design logical time subsection control system, the liquid air hammer for more than 5,000 times experiments, the equipments were running well, did not appear the phenomenon of less beating and continuous beating, the forged products are qualified.
