Study On Suitability Evaluation Of Karst Rocky Desertification Control Patterns In Karst Counties Of Guangxi

Taking the promoting of rocky desertification by comprehensive treatment in southwest karst regions of'the tenth five years planning'as marker, the rocky desertification control has been raised as national object and taken as an significant component of ecological environment reconstruction in western development program. Later, during the'eleventh five years planning', the State Council officially replied the'the program of rocky desertification by comprehensive treatment in karst regions'and then developed the pilot program of rocky desertification by comprehensive treatment statewide.In this context, we introduced the WSR system methodology into the process of rocky desertification control so as to guide the arrangement of control works of karst rocky desertification by this concept. Then by chosing the small watershed as research scale with dividing the small watershed based on the 1:100,000 DEM of Guangxi, we constructed the main conceptual geometric small watershed and entitative small watershed so as to select the small watershed used for control work. While constructing the suitability evaluation index system of karst rocky desertification control patterns, we conducted the bottom-up divisions of karst counties by fuzzy clustering analysis and compared the result with extension range of control patterns by subjective judgment. Then, we obtained the suitable extension range of various karst rocky desertification control patterns, for the purpose of providing the macro reference for karst rocky desertification control.Through the research, by obtained the control patterns that fit to various karst counties, combining the economic and social development of local rural areas, we proposed some scientific and technical support for further control of rocky desertification nationwide.
