A number of windowing and cutting off operations for the oil-gas flow line are inevitable in the union station of maturing field. At present, there are two methods to window and cut including mechanical cutting tool and acetylene flame. Local high temperature and open flame are always inevitable as a result of both of the methods belonging heat cutting. What's more, the oil-gas pipeline is likely to be exploded, once scavenging and flush are not carried out completely on earlier stage. The paper respectively designs the automatically windowing instruments for circle and rectangle shape, moreover, the latter can cut off oil-gas pipeline completely , basing on the characters of AWJ cold cutting for the previous problem. Both of the apparatus share the same lock chuck mechanism with screw and the largest diameter of oil-gas pipeline which is clamped by the apparatus is two hundred millimeters at most. The apparatus for circle shape window can have a control of the diameter, jet length and the adjustable rate of nozzle motion continuously by the way in which AWJ nozzle driven by hydraulic motor moves in circle shape. The apparatus for rectangle shape window have hydraulic motor and fluid cylinder for executive motivation elements. When both of them have the combined actions, the apparatus can control the nozzle motion following trajectory of rectangle shape and the dimension of the rectangle shape window in succession. When the hydraulic motor is carried out solely, the nozzle can have uniform circular motion and cut off the pipeline completely. Two apparatus designed run smooth and reliable and have high efficiency in operations after the experiments of the model machine. It offers a effective approach for the window and cutting off safely in oil-gas flow line and fill the blank of cutting oil-gas flow line.
