Nowadays mine water-bursting is one of natural calamities which often happens in coal mine exploitations. It threatens the normal production of mine and the life of personnel seriously and has come into being huge economic loss. So distinguishing the water-bursting resources rapidly and accurately is particularly important. It is the main task and important base of the coal mine water prevention and cure. It provides the decision-making for water prevention and cure reasonably and efficiently.Basing on the mastery for the background of geology and hydrogeolgy about Xingtai coal mine sufficiently, the relationship is analysied between the spatial distribution feature of the water-burstng area and the production schedule. The difference and reason of hydro-geochemistry about the main gushing water aquifers are discussed. Choosed the main seven ions as the ingredient and choosed the main aquifers threatened the normal production of mine as the evaluation classes,,database on wter is created. The items on main aquifers and the coordinate and chemical feature of water point are displayed using the GIS spatial visualization, while the spatial distribution of water-bursting points are marked. The evaluation model about the source of the water-inrush is created applying methods of Gray situation decision, Fuzzy recognition model and Bayes stepwise method, then is used in the existanced sample to check the model. The result shows: Regarding to the water points choosed from more complicated hydrogeological regions, the result is not very well; but Bayes stepwise analysis model gain a satisfactory result. So Bayes stepwise analysis model is choosed. it can discriminate the bursting source better in Xingtai coalfield, achieve rapaid discriminate of underground water-bursting, and apply decision-making basis for the prevention and treatment of water.
