With the continuing improvement of people’s living standard, people demand for leather products is increasing. Although natural leather has excellent performance, but natural leather pollute environment in processing and limited in resources. The synthetic leather product emerges as the times require, because the natural leather product can’t meet the demand. At present, the more popular product is the island micro fiber synthetic leather PU synthetic leather, which use Oily Polyurethane and created nitrogen N-dimethyl formamide in the production process, the environment and people’s health cause some degree of damage. Island Microfiber Leather reproduction process, need to go through spunbond, acupuncture (spunlace), impregnated polyurethane base reduction and other processes, the process is not only complicated but also pollute the environment, the final product is thicker, it can not well be applied to clothing leather fields.An orange microfiber nonwoven directly split fiber and fix line by spunlace process after spun-bonded process, the whole process is very efficient, environmentally friendly product with adjustable thickness, very suitable for thin products, is an ideal material garment leather fabric; waterborne polyurethane use water as a solvent, no volatile toxic gases during use, very environmentally friendly. This article will organically combine the two vantages, give full play to their own advantages, the development of water-based orange petals microfiber garment leather, this paper focuses on three aspects:the first is assess orange petals Microfiber spunlace taking performance to determine its feasibility as leather fabric. The second is produced an aqueous polyurethane foam layer, to explore the process parameters on the structure and properties of the foam layer, and optimize the best process parameters. The last is compositing orange petals microfiber leather fabric with water-based polyurethane foam layer, prepared aqueous orange petals microfiber garment leather, and with the popularity of woven fabrics, leather garments, knitted garments, leather, leather garments, leather do performance comparison analysis. All the results obtained will be of benefit to better understanding the processing and machine designExperimental results show that(1) The orange microfiber leather fabric has good mechanical properties, moisture permeability and drape, breathable somewhat less in terms of performance, but better in the island microfiber leather fabric; a comprehensive analysis having good wearability, can meet the requirements of the clothing sector.(2) Aqueous polyurethane foam ratio, film formation temperature, stirring speed, the amount of thickener foam layer porous structure, mechanical properties, moisture permeability, hydrolysis resistance and the degree of crystallinity have a greater impact; the best process optimization parameters are:expansion ratio of 2.5, the film forming temperature is 120℃, stirring speed 600r/min, the amount of 1% thickening agent; mechanical then prepared aqueous polyurethane foam layer strength is 3.94MPa, water vapor permeability to 4119g/m2-d, degree of crystallinity 27.41%, good hydrolysis resistance (mass loss rate<0.7%, strength loss rate<0.8%), the leather will has smooth surface.(3) orange aqueous micro fiber leather and leather garments, leather garments, woven fabric garments, leather, knitted garment leather comparative analysis shows that the mechanical properties better than leather, water-resistant performance, moisture permeability, thermal performance, it second only in leather, better than woven fabrics, knitted garment leather; slightly inferior in terms of draping, but the overall style is superior to woven fabrics, knitted garments, leather, next to the natural leather.
