Co3O4 is a p-type semiconductor oxides with energy gap of 1.5eV, which has excellent gas sensitive, electrochemical, batteries, catalyst and elctromagnetic materials ect. In recent years, study of nanomaterials have attracted much attention,especially the nanomaterials of nanowires, nanorods, nano film, nanometer ball has been widely studied.so far the article of the nano polyhedron Co3O4 has been less reported,our group mainly researched the synthetic of nano polyhedron Co3O4 and related properties.We adjusted the proportion of solvent to prepare various morphology of the nano Co3O4, cobalt manganese composite material and cobalt copper composite materialby sol-gel method. They were characterized through XRD, SEM and FT-IR. We used polyhedron Co3O4 and cobalt manganese composite as a catalyst to degrade 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene, explored the reaction time, reaction temperature and dosage of catalyst on the degradation effect.The qualitative and quantitative analysis of the degradation mechanism of 1,2,4- trichlorobenzene was carried out by GS-MS and the degradation mechanism was also studied.We used nano polyhedron Co3O4, cobalt manganese composite materia as a likeFenton catalysts to degraded organic dyes. The experimental results show that the degradation effect of cobalt manganese composite is best and cobalt manganese composite materials can be recycled five times, still to have the good effects on catalytic degradation under neutral and alkaline conditions.Co3O4 particles were synthesized by solvothermal method,using Co Cl2 · 6H2 O and methenamine as raw material. We adjusted the proportion of solvent,the reaction time, reaction temperature, mole ratio of reactants, to prepare various morphology of the nano Co3O4,And we studied the polyhedron Co3O4 photocatalytic performance of organic dyes.
