A Comparative Study On The Framework Of Traditional Media And New Media Haze Report

The Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed the construction of ecological civilization elevated to the same height with economic construction, political construction, cultural construction and social construction, and proposed the "beautiful China" concept. Whatever from environmental problems or the National policy,it’s essential that media pay attention to Hazy issue.Media provide people with information about Hazy weather, explain what reasons for Hazy and influences, and how to avoid it. The paper concentrated on the reports of Hazy, and selected the People’s Daily and @People’s Daily that they are representative media in the field of traditional media and new media, used the knowledge of the frame theory and the method of content analysis to compare their Hazy reports from "Content" and "format" two aspects. By analyzing the theme, the resource, the key, the express, the rhetoric, the paper found that the People’s Daily is accustomed to use the framework of resolving Hazy problems, but @People’s Daily prefers to use the framework of self-examination of problems and appeal to protect the environment.After analyzing media’s framework, the paper used the perspective of news production to analyze the influencing factors from aspects of "Gatekeeper" and convention of news and external control.Finally, the paper focused on deficiencies of media’s Hazy reports,and made suggestions to promote Hazy reports.
