With the increasingly people’s awareness of energy saving and environment protection, UV curing technology is increasingly favored by people with excellent features,such as fast curing rate,less environmental pollution,high efficiency,low energy consumption etc.The polyol ester of acrylic acid is widely used in coatings, inks,adhesives and other fields as the most important function monomers and thinners. We prepared the pentaerythritol triacrylate(PETA) and the cellulose esters of dimethly acrylic by the completely esterification and partially hydrolysis crafts, then synthesized a urethane acrylate prepolymer(PUA) of nine functionality by the raw material of the PETA that sold on the market and homemade, and evaluated the properties of its coatings.We synthesiaed the pentaerythritol tetraacrylate(PETTA) by fully esterified based on acrylic acid, pentaerthritol with the addition of p-toluenesulfonic acid as catalyst, cuprous chloride and nitroxide as compound polymerization inhibitor, toluene as solvent in the first part.The impact of various factors on the reaction and process conditions were investigated and optimized, such as catalyst content, inhibitor content, molar ratio of acrylic acid and alcohol. And conducted a preliminary analysis for structure of the product.The results show that: n(AA):n(PE)=4.4:1.0, reaction condition at 110 ℃ around 10 hours,hydroxyl value of the product reache about 5 mgKOH/g, more than 95% yield. Used the PETTA that homemade of the above reaction as raw materials. Selectve hydrolysised in the catalytic of concentrated hydrochloric acid. Examined the impacts of various factions of reaction temperature, reaction time, dosage of acid on the reaction, and tested the composition and structure of the reaction product. The results show that: the reaction temperature at 90 ℃, reaction time on 8 hours, hydroxyl value of the products reach 144mgKOH/g, approaching 71.4% of the yield. The content of PETA that we homemade was significantly higher than the similar products sold on the market. Synthesized a urethane acrylate prepolymer(PUA) of nine functionality by the raw material of the PETA that sold on the market and homemade, and evaluated the properties of its coatings. Prepared the test composition by mixing the pure acrylic resin and PUA, and tested the properties of these films. The results show that: the hardness and crosslinking of the PUA films thatsynthesized by the PETA sold on the market were lower than that homemade, it indicated the PETA content of the products by the PETA sold on the market was lower than the homemade products. The cured film of the PUA prepolymer with a high hardness, poor adhesion and flexibility, we can increase the adhesion and flexibility, improve the overall performance of the cured coating.The second part synthesized cellulose esters of dimethacrylate by the method of two-step, cellulose and dimethacrylate as raw material, acetic acid as medium,concentrated sulfuric acid as catalyst. Investigated the impact of activation time, heating process, temperature and other factors on the reaction. The results showed that: the activation process of acetic acid can increase the reaction rate of cellulose. Prepared cellulose esters of dimethcrylate in the heating manner of esterification reaction is gradually warmed to about 45 ℃ from 2 ℃, then hydrolysis the ester at a temperature of about 55 ℃.
