As increasing need of pure isomer, more and more attentions have been paid to the chiral separation. The main works of the thesis are listed as follows:Chiral phenomena, meaning of the chiral separation, chiral separation method, HPLC, membrane separation, and application of vancomycin for resolution were introduced. With vancomycin and 1,6-disocyanatohexane as monomer, the vancomycin composite membrane on polysulfone membrane was prepared by interfacial polymerization to adsorpt the phenylglycine enantiomer. Monomer mole ratio, adsorption time, concentration of feed solution, and temperature were optimized. 53% of enantiomeric excess was achieved. Two kinds of vancomycin solid phase extractors were also prerared to extract phenylglycine enantiomer. Some experimental conditions were researched, too. 29% enantiomeric excess value was obtained. We studied the membrane chromatography by vancomycin composite membrane and high performance liquid chromatography by vancomycin chiral column. Different optical resolutions of phenylglycine were caurried out with vaurious mobile phase and flow rate etc.Using pressure or concentration as the driving force, ultrafiltration and dialysis were studied by vancomycin composite membrane to explore the chiral separation of D,L-phenylglycine. By optimized operation conditions, up to 23% of enantiomeric excess value obtained in ultrafiltration, and 43% of the enantiomeric excess could be reached in dialysis.
