One-step extraction and high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)-MS/MS have been developed and validated for the determination of 10 kinds of benzoylurea insecticides(diflubenzuron,chlorbenzuron,triflumuron,hexaflumuron,teflubenzuron,flufenoxuron,fluazuron novaluron, lufenuron and chlorfluazuron)residues in food matrices including rice, wheat,bean, Chinese cabbage,cabbage,radish, pear, chicken, peanut, fish graph, and tea.The extraction efficiency of ethyl acetate and acetonitrile,different cleanup methods including Cl8 solid phase extraction(SPE)cartridge , hydrophilic—lipophilic balance(HLB)SPE cartridge,activated carbon,florisil and Vario GPC and separation by HPLC are extensively investigated . The extraction recoveries of the ten kinds of benzoylurea insecticides are between 70.0% and 115.1% for spiked level of 0.005-MRL mg/kg.The limits of quantification are 0.005 mg/kg for the 10 pesticides(S/N=1 0).There are good linear correlations between the peak areas and concentrations of the ten kinds of benzoylurea insecticides,the linear range is 0.005—10mg/L and the correlation coeficients are above 0.999.
