There is a higher level of control technology on high-quality strip rolling on abroad. Because of behind of equip technology, there is a bigger gap between developed country and our country. While it has had a lot of achievements in this field, there are many questions to answer in practical appliance. This article's background is the 450mm reversible single stand 4-high cold rolling mill computer control system of some Special Steel Branch, Iron and Steel Co. Ltd. Do more research on the Hydraulic AGC,Stratching force and Shape of strip of this project.On the basis of acknowledged the total scheme of hydraulic AGC, The author completed the collection of data on the spot, detailedly introduced sorts of applied AGC means on the spot. Under the circumstances of pure lag in feedback control system and the imprecision of the controlled object model, the fuzzy logic and pure lag compensation theory is used to design a fuzzy control system with Smith predictor. By the Simulink toolbox of MATLAB, the system has been simulated. The simulation results show that the Fuzzy-Smith system has better performance than the traditional Smith system.At the same time, aim at the problems of roll eccentricity and gauge compensation during acceleration and deceleration in the gauge control, the author made a simple report. In this paper the author analyzed the effect principle that the roll eccentricity on strip gauge. Applied the average force algorithm to decrease roll eccentricity, and concluded that using the force close-loop can compensate the roll eccentricity. On the other hand, according to the collected data can analyze that the speed compensation make effect to the strip gauge control system.The strip steel is the important part of iron and steel industry. As the important tool of judging the quality of strip steel, Shape of strip is becoming the focus which people cares. So the author also introduced the shape of strip as doing the research on gauge control. At the same time, major described the shape of strip control system which applied in this project-woke roll bent control.
