Regenerative reheating furnace is the latest energy saving and environment friendly furnace as the development of HTAC since 1980s, comparing with heat exchange reheating furnace, it takes the advantages of higher temperature in air(gas) pre-heat up, while lower temperature in smoke venting, as well as higher thermal efficiency etc. At present, the regenerative reheating furnace is obtained widespread application in the world scope. The reheating furnace is not only one of the important equipment, but also a large energy consumer on steel rolling line. Therefore, further to study the mathematical process models of reheating furnace and the computer technology has important reference value, which will be important in establishing a modern furnace system with the strongpoint of large-scale, highly automation, high quality and high productivity.In this paper, based on walking beam regenerative reheating furnace system, a brief overview of regenerative reheating furnace and the basic conception of process simulation was introduced. Then, this paper particularly treats the basic principle of Independent Component Analysis (ICA),introduces several currently ICA algorithms, and introduces kernel ICA algorithms emphasizely. Basing theoretical study, combining with the local collected larges numbers of input and output data, using the method of multilinear regression algorithm, a temperature process simulation model of reheating furnace system was build. And the output result by choosing multinomial kernel function and Guass redial based function was compared. By the result of simulation, the reheating furnace temperature model constructed by this method is well approached practicality temperature, and the feasibility of this method was proved.Following the above, a simulation platform of reheating furnace model was designed, which programmed by SolidWorks, Matlab, and VB.In this platform, a three-dimensional furnace figure was designed by SolidWorks, which is one of the mechanical software. The program we designed was changed to a macroinstruction of SolidWorks to realize realtime calling of three-dimensional reheating furnace, and will will running under the environment of SolidWorks to make the platform keep up with the change of reheating furnace. In the aspect of arithmetic, the program was desgined by using COM-based method which combining Visual Basic 6.0 with MATLAB7.0, to realize the complex compution of mathmatic models. The model can be used by other controlling program as a object, and it will be more universal because of DDE technique's application.
