Ningxiang type iron is sedimentation mineral deposit which is large distribution and big storage capacity.But the separation is diffcult in the world.The system research of mineralogy, the flotation in the sodium oleate system and the high intensity magnetic separation of Ningxiang type iron are studyed in this paper. Mechanism research is also studied at the same time.Ningxiang type iron in this paper is a kind of oolitic hematite by the research of mineralogy.The grade of iron is 50.61%. The grain size of the oolitic hematite is very fine, about 10μm, as the oolitic with the amesite symbiotic.In the sodium oleate system, adding 10kg/t of mill chemist as milling, controlling the temperature higher than 80℃, mill the run-of-mine ore 40 minutes. When flotation CaO is used to controlled the pH at 10.5. As the 0# sodium oleate added 600g/t, the starch added 1000g/t, the grade of iron concertrate is 54.93% and the recovery 35.31%.Adding 10kg/t of chemical agent as milling, controlling the temperature higher than 80℃, mill the run-of-mine ore 40 minutes. When the electricity intensity of XCQS high intensity magnetic machine is 8A, the grade of iron concertrate is 54.93% and the recovery 85.58%.The starch is chemisorption in the surface of hematite with the oxyhydryl in hydroxyl bond. The sodium oleate is chemisorption in the surface of hematite with sodium oleate ion.The study in this paper can afford the technical base for oolitic hematite research.
