Design Of Pattern And Entire Shoe On Reverse Engineering

Leading the technique of CAD into design and manufacture of shoe industry has the important meaning for raising the levels of the whole shoe industry. Computer aided shoe's pattern design is one of the most important parts of the computer aided shoe's design and the key to success of the computer aided shoe's design. An in-depth analysis and study of computer aided shoe's pattern design in our country is made in this paper. The work has been done in this paper as follows:1. Control medium is required to help designers to sketch pattern outlines during the process of 3D pattern design. First, clouds of different lasts are built up in this paper. Second, as the control medium to sketch pattern outlines, all kinds of characteristic points and basic control lines are labeled on the shoe lasts according to the basic principle and pedal system.2. Because shoe last is the base of shoe's pattern design, it is very important to rebuild a precise 3d model of shoe last. The shoe last cloud is divided into several parts according to the basic control lines labeled in this paper and the several parts are matched into surfaces respectively. A precise 3d model of shoe last is rebuilt after all the surfaces are merged.3. Different outlines of shoe's parts are sketched according to the characteristic points and basic control lines in this paper. Different 3d pattern models of shoes are created after all the surfaces are matched.4. The hells and other parts are designed in this paper and the shoe's whole model is created in this paper.5. In order to speed the pattern design, fufil the custom-tailor require and make customers to observe the result intuitively, an accessory base and a material base are created which are aimed at shoe design in this paper. With the accessory base and the material base, it can change the bottom and heel of shoe and the material of shoe at any moment and output different effect drawings.The software Imageware and 3ds max are used as instruments in this paper. Imageware is famous software of Reverse Engineering and it can complete the work of 3d pattern design easily.3ds max is 3d animation production software and it has comprehensive application at home and abroad at present. It has a standout system to edit material. It can endue proper material and color to shoe's model and output beautiful effect drawings of shoes.
