Transmission system of the rolling mill can be operated safely based on the guide line is one of the key issues. With continuously improve productivity and strengthen rolling, the rolling mill's transmission system increased the load, so the transmission system of the rolling mill must have high-precision and dynamic performance of the technical requirements. The torsional vibration of the rolling mill affects not only the surface quality of the workpiece, but also reduces the fatigue life of the transmission system, threat to the safety of the equipment directly.The torsional vibration is the main feature of the vibration of the rolling mill, the establishment of reversing kinetic model of the rolling mill, the general use the method of the centralized parameters on processing by-axis system. Gear included in the deal with the mill's main drive system dynamic model, often overlooked gear meshing stiffness, in the paper, gears meshing stiffness of the F2-rolling mill main transmission in a steel company is studied by the establishment of torsional vibration model.In this study, first of all, establish two main transmission dynamics model as consider gear meshing stiffness and rigidity and neglect gears meshing stiffness, the natural frequency and vibration mode using matrix iterative method, compared with two class model of torsional vibration.Secondly, the use of Longa-Coulthard numerical techniques in the MATLAB software, calculate dynamic torque response for the central axis of the meshing process of the dynamic model of two class rolling mill, comparative analysis on the spindle of rolling mill, connect the shaft torque data results, analyze the relationship between the stiffness of gears. and vibration of the rolling mill.Through comparative analysis of the data, we can see the natural frequency of the main drive system is lower when consider the gear meshing stiffness, and there are many highest-rank natural frequency, while gear meshing stiffness reducer mill main drive system natural frequency numerical in the first few rank. In the same mill-force, the transmission torque with the time increase to change into lower. Consider the meshing gear stiffness, the mill dynamic torque values of the main transmission shaft would be increased.
