Based on the active underwater target location system, the dissertation accomplished the improved design of underwater target simulator. The previous simulator simulates simply. In order to approach the real marine environment, the simulator should have the function of simulating multi-channel signals in any hydrological conditions. Here studies the related technologies of underwater target simulator in multi-channel and any hydrological conditions. The design of display and control software and the development of USB are to be completed. The core of the improved underwater target simulator is how to search the eigen rays in multi-channel condition. The paper adopts the combined method of angle-scanning and dichotomy. The method could get the eigen rays quickly and consider the situation of missing some eigen rays. The disposing for the multi-channel is to convert the complex reflected sound to simply direct sound following the principle of specular reflection. The accession of multi-channel and hydrological condition improves the quality of simulation greatly. The development of USB concludes designs of drivers and application program, the aim of which is to improve the stability of the interface. The USB driver program was completed with DriverStudio, while the application's developing environment is Visual C++6.0. The stability of USB could be improved by turning on the device in asynchronous mode and the program will not block because of accidental power-off or error plug.Analyze the impact on the receiving signal of distance ambiguity, multi-path channel and hydrological conditions through computer simulation. The simulator is proved correctness in the laboratory joint debugging. In addition, it is able to test the system's function of selecting direct pulse and revising acoustic ray and achieve the desired results.
