In recent years, it deepens gradually that the economic and environmental protection understanding of the car, more and more urgent to the car technology upgrading requirement. And, domestic automobile market ripe day by day, it is becoming fiercer that the popularization of the car has driven market competition. the vehicle type updated and technology upgraded is more and more frequent, hastens the technology of economic and environmental protection into the stage of popularization on the domestic car market.Compared 4G93D4 engine with the engine of the same displacement, the power is higher, the torsion is greater, the fuel consumption is lower, and it is a competitive product of the 4G9 series engine of DAE Company. It undertakes to open up 1.8-2.0L model market, become the important task of the second point of economic increase. However, because this engine is that Mitsubishi motor corporation developed and finished the products in latter stage of the 1990s of last century, it is slightly low on the torsion of low-speed, limited by in the cost factor at that time, had not further optimized. Been condemned by rival and user all the time on the market.This text regards 4G93D4 engine as target, the application of systematic technology of the variable valve to VVT (Variable Valve Timing), promote the low-speed torsion of 4G93 engine, reduce the fuel consumption. According to the current situation of the present part market, combine 4G93 engine products strcture, it have rearranged and designed the valvetrain, oil curcuit, etc. adopting the optimizing scheme of CAE calculation, a prototype has been finished ,then finished the preliminary development of the electronic control system.The developed prototype, it has not only continued keeping 4G93D4 engine technology on the market, but also gave to the cost advantage, the life of the 4G93D4 engine has been continued.
