Study On BDD Electrode Application In Ionized Water Washing Machine

Researchers had put more efforts on the study of boron doped diamond (BDD) film foundation aspect in recent years. The application of BDD film in electrochemical aspect advanced much as the technology of doping improved. BDD film electrode was excellent based on its good conduction and steady character. The covalent bond in its structure, wide band clearance and doping made it was superior on certain filed when compared with traditional electrode, for instance: titanium base electrode. Therefore it would had a wide application foreground.Firstly the trend and actuality of ionized water washing machine was showed. Since the ionized water washing machine used alkalescent water which generated by electrolyzing electrode of ionized water generator, choosing electrode became more important. Now the usual ionized water washing machine adopted Dimension stable anode as the anode in ionized water generator, the titanium base electrode was the commonly used electrode in daily life. In this paper, we adopted BDD film electrode as the anode of ionized water generator and performed the experiment using normal washing machine.In completing the detailed experiment, we evaluated the surface character and film quality of BDD film which was deposited by HFCVD. Then compared with titanium electrode when both of them as the anode of ionized water generator. Firstly compared the PH of alkalescent water which was made by two different electrode on the same condition: same voltage, different flow speed and different voltage, same flow speed. Then using the different alkalescent water to perform washing experiment. The result revealed that no matter on the effect of electrolyzing, or the washing effect, BDD film electrode had superior when compared to titanium electrode, meanwhile, it also better than scour in certain aspect. Besides, BDD film electrode could wash materials when not using ionized separated film, the effect was also satisfying. The capacity of sterilization was excellent when compared to titanium electrode. As the experiment showed, using the BDD film electrode as the anode of ionized water washing was high effect, convenient and healthy.
