Bidding in the next big situation, the gas-fired power generation cost and electricity price determines the competitiveness of gas power plants. However, the current high international fuel prices, the lagged domestic price policy brought about difficulties in the operation of gas power plants, the status of the unit at the edge of the gas turbine to the huge challenge of survival, and profitability of their investments decline in value of the inevitable of natural gas and natural gas industry, development prospects of the project. It is necessary to the reality of operating conditions on the problems arising from a study to provide reasonable solutions and guidance to improve overall operational efficiency of the plant.In this thesis, the way gas turbine peaking operation, opening night of stops early, frequent maintenance cycle gas turbine start on the device safe and economic operation, unit efficiency and environmental impact. Pointed out that the selected gas turbine unit run. The optimal allocation of unit load, steam system optimization, non-rated conditions and the variable power mode.operation optimization of the main problems in the peak load operation optimization.
