Nowadays, with the development of speed AC drive technology, AC tracks system has changed a lot,from the traditional DC traction system into an advanced AC traction system. With high running performance, low costs, energy saving and high reliability of the AC traction system has become a hot research field.AC locomotives usually use single inverter drive two or more motors, therefore the research of control mode of single inverter drive two or more motors is the key technology of AC drive. So in this paper, based on the theory of AC traction control system, we design hardware platform of AC traction control system and design the software programming of vector control algorithm. And on this basis, we do experiments of vector control of single motor, the results show that the vector control of AC traction system has good speed performance and super dynamic performance. It also has verified the feasibility the control mode, as the basis of further experiment.In AC traction system, we usually use mechanical sensors.But because of the expensive costs and unstabled reliability, especially in the AC traction complex working conditions, reliability and accuracy will be greatly reduced, the research of speedless control mode is also key technology of AC drive. So in this paper, from the principle of AC drive, we use advanced model reference adaptive method (MRAS) to estimate rotor speed, and improve by adding fuzzy controller to speed estimate. And on this basis we build software simulation platform, and run it at low speed, analysis of simulation.The results show that the control scheme is feasible.
