Recently, an advanced composite material named Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic(CFRP)has emerged as an alternative to traditional strengthening materials. Many advantages such as lightweight, non-corrosive, simple construction, and high tensile strength make it widely used in strengthening field.First, introduced all kinds of concrete pillar shear capacity formula from domestic and international, then estimated the concrete pillar shear capacity formula by using the PEER database. Classificate the shear damage mode of pillars, put forward to as far as possible look for to bently shear breakage, and give the method of classification of the shear damage mode by using displacement and ductility factor. Introduce 5 kinds of different reinforce code of FRP reinforce a pillar anti-to shear loading formula, on the contrast of the formula by using test data, we know the Chinese reinforce code is more suitable for engineering.Then, on the base of analyzing the theories, reference to current concrete code, give the loading calculation formula of pressing the pillar. On the contrast of the formula by using test data, we can see that the loading calculation formula of pressing the pillar is correct, and we can use it in engineering.Finally, make a analysis by ANSYS similarly, the result indicates:The extreme capacity of pressure of pillar that be axis and small bias pressure can be improved by FRP reinforces, but there are no effect when the pillar be bias pressed largely; we can also see that the destruction of the site is the same to the test, so do the extreme capacity of pressure, but numerical is smaller.
