Studies On The Theory And Practice In Near-natural Riparian Zone

In the past, drainage and hardening of the project management methods were used to manage urban rivers, only focusing on flood prevention, water transportation, irrigation and etc. So river's natural ecological environment was destroed. How to use the idea of near-natural to determine the best treatment methods and the scientific and rational transformation mode to urban riparian zone, It's important to achieve flood control, to rebuild near-natural riparian zone including environment, landscape, ecological.It's will be the city's major issue of sustainable development.In this paper, based on the domestic and abroad's research of the near-natural rivers, useing landscape ecology, ecological water theory, pore theory, sustainable development theory and natural aesthetics as a theoretical support system, the anther defines the relevance concept of the near-natural riparian zone, proposes construction of a near-natural riparian zone's including man and nature harmony, design to comply with the natural, rational functions locate, create heterogeneous landscape, and create a human space five design concepts and five principles including people-oriented, both inside and outside, ecological engineering, restoration of natural, sustainable development.Based on the above mentioned concept and theoretical framework,the anther takes the northern section of monkey stone bridge of the Xiangjiang River landscape in Changsha City's transformation as an example. By the status of the project to analysis the main problems and constraints, the anther finds out the rational form of the Changsha Xiangjiang River riparian zone's natural transformation. Finally, the anther points out the direction and strategies of the projects's transformation to achieve the natural, ecological, social and economic needs of the near-natural riparian landscape, the anther puts forward to suggestion to the long-term development of the construction of a natural riparian zone.
