Under the vigorously promoting on national policy energy conservation and emissions reduction,new wall materials have been developing rapidly during the Eleventh Five Year Plan. Autoclaved fly ash bricks which made of industrial wastes have improved the ecological environment in local area, moreover, it achieved remarkable economic and social benefits. In order to promote the production and application of autoclaved fly ash brick in Liaoning province, Liaoning Province Wall Materials Reforming Office and Liaoning Provincial Construction Department make a plan to draw up Liaoning local standards Autoclaved Fly Ash Brick and Technical Code forAutoclaved Fly Ash Brick Masonry Buildings , In this paper, testes aimed at a part of physical and mechanical performance of autoclaved fly ash brick have been done,which results can provide foundations for the two codes. The Specific content of the pilot study include the following aspects:1. To compared compression and anti-breaking test results of autoclaved fly ash brick with concave and convex and ordinary one respectively have been analyzed the influence of concave and convex chamfer on anti-breaking strength. Obtained the compression-bend ratio of autoclaved fly ash brick. Analysis the factors on compression strength and anti-breaking strength. I suggest that we can make sure the strength grade of autoclaved fly ash brick with compression strength and compression-bend ratio.2. Though the incremental freezing-thawing cycle tests with autoclaved fly ash brick, it comes to a conclusion that the strength losing rate and quality losing rate is increased with the increase of cycle of freezing and thawing by a linear relationship. I suggest that we can enhance the mandate of anti-freezing functionof autoclaved fly ash brick.3. Based on the shearing test of autoclaved fly ash brick with concave and convex is made in order to understand impact factors of shearing strength as well as the influences of concave and convex chamfer on masonry shearing strength.4. According to the experiment on autoclaved fly ash brick under low reversed cyclic loading, the characteristic of wall failure patterns, deformation, intensity, rigidity, ductility, power cost are analyzed. And comparing with the testing data of others,it comes to a conclusion that the testing results is less than the value which is calculated by the antiseismic on autoclaved fly ash brick with the calculation formula of bearing capacity in Masonry Structure Design Code.5. Based on the test results,the simulated and analysised on seismic performance of autoclaved fly ash brick wall under low reversed cyclic loading have been done with the analysis software ABAQUS , and compared analysis with the test results have been done.
