Micro UV, VIS and NIR wide spectrum analytical instruments are the crucial way of development in analytical instruments area, due to their key positions and rapid development in instrument miniaturization.Based on the theory ofspectrum instruments, we choose the areaUV CCD with 2080×20 Pixels made by Hamamatsu Corporation and the symmetrical Czerny-Turner optical system with 98.5mm focal length. The study create the model machine of Micro UV (wide spectrum) spectrometer, measuring data on Deuterium spectrum, Halogen spectrum and mixture spectrum of Halogen and Deuteriumof Ocean OpticsDH-2000 light source.The thesis mainly analyzes and designs the circuit and software system of Micro UV spectrometer.The design work of the whole circuit system include CCD timing chart, acquisition and processing system of pixel signal, USB2.0/USB1.1 communication system and power system.The project designs the timing chart withVerilog language and realized by CPLD chip. We complete the CCD analog signal processing system and 16-bit high speed AD converterby using professional signal processing chip of ADI Company. We devise the firmware code to obtain USB communication by using 68013 chip of Cypress Company; use DC-DC, LDO to achieve the multi output power system, which is only supplied by USB; and finish the 4-layer micro PCB board to reach the high SNR.We develop the DEMO version of Spectrometer software, which can be compatible with WIN7, VISTA and XP system. Made by multithreading and DLL, the software cancomplete the basic spectral calibration, data measurement and data processing, with powerful re-development function.The final model spectrometer use 300 lines blazed grating,200-1100nm detection range, integration timeresolution of 1μs and lasting 10μs-8.4s. We design out trigger,digital gain(6×) and offset(±300mV) functions. The whole spectral resolution is not less than 2nm in theory while its center wavelength resolution is 1nm.After calibration, it can clearly measure the only 2.1 nm difference between the 576.960nm and 579.066nm spectrums. This model spectrometer reaches the design requirements as it has excellent UV response verified by Ocean Optics'DH-2000 light source.
