Disc Brake has been widely applied to vehicle. In this paper, brake judder and thermal-structural coupled analysis of floating caliper disc brake has been researched aiming at the safety and comfort of braking. First, disc brake is force analyzed and a dynamic model of the brake is established, by which the mathematic relation between Disc Thickness Variation and Brake Torque Variation is established. Second, effect of different parameters such as stiffness, damping, magnitude and distribution of DTV to the BTV is analyzed. Third, a three-dimensional finite element modal of disc brake is established and the temperature field and stress field of disc brake is simulated. Finally, the effect of different brake conditions and thicknesses of disc to the temperature field and stress field of disc is analyzed.Chapter 1:The classification, structure and its strengths and weaknesses of disc brake is introduced. The research status on thermal analysis and judder of disc brake is stated, and the main research content of this paper is given.Chapter 2:The mechanism and influence factors of disc brake is introduced disc brake is force analyzed and a dynamic modal of disc brake is established by which the mathematic relation between Disc Thickness Variation and Brake Torque Variation is establishedChapter 3:Then effect of different parameters such as stiffness damping magnitude and distribution of DTV to the BTV is simulated by Matlab using Runge-Kutta method.Chapter 4:A three-Dimensional finite element modal of disc brake is established and the temperature field and stress field of disc brake is simulated. The effect of different brake conditions and thicknesses of disc to the temperature field and stress field of disc is analyzedChapter 5:The main research conclusion is summarized and further research work is put forward.
