A girder with corrugated steel web is a new type of structure which bending the web into a corrugated shape, with a light weight, high capacity features, also make the construction convenience. It can effectively improve the mechanical properties and improving economic indicators. Abroad, especially in Japan, it has been widely used, it also has been used in some fields in China and achieved good economic benefit in recent years.In this thesis, a theoretical study on stability analysis of girders with corrugated steel webs is made, based on the achievements abroad, this paper analysis the performance of corrugated steel webs under the bending, shear and the torsional moment, as well as the stability of the girders with corrugated steel webs. The equivalent elastic modulus formula and the form factor values of corrugated steel webs are deduced when the corrugated steel webs are bent, then combining with foreign specification, a simplified calculation formula of corrugated steel webs under the local shear buckling mode is introduced, its reliability is verified through an specific example.Compared to girders with flat steel webs, the stability and bearing capacity of girders with corrugated steel webs have a significcant raise, in particular, the shear strength and stability of the local level are significantly higher than the girders with flat steel webs. The buckling test of corrugated steel plates under pressure are designed to research the buckling damage patterns of corrugated steel plates with different parameters under the uniform and one-way pressure, the stability damage tests of a girder with corrugated steel web and a girder with flat steel web are designed to compare the bearing capacity, distribution of stress and stability between them.With ANSYS, a large-scale finite element software, a simulation analysis is made about corrugated steel plate and a girder with corrugated steel web as well as a girder with flat steel web which are consistent with the test members. And then the stress distribution, critical load and the buckling deformation are analysed respectively, then the results of tests are compared with simulation analysis results to verify the reliability of the simulation analysis models and results. The affect factors on the buckling of corrugated steel webs are required through analysing the buckling of corrugated steel webs with different parameters and the recommendations of how to select the geometry parameters of corrugated steel webs are given.
