Due to corrugated steel webs mainly bearing shear strength, so stability has become the majoy subject for research. Although some results has obtained targeting research of straight corrugated steel webs, the research of curved corrugated steel webs. This paper has made discussions of curved corrugated steel webs in detail. The main parts are shown as following:(1) Separately deduce the theoretical formula of local buckling and global buckling of corrugated steel webs. The first one is local buckling. The corrugated steel webs are under local buckling,which is similar to rectangular sheet under the shear stress on the four sides. So we can use the the principle of minimum potential energy to deduce the shear buckling strength formula in the different boundary conditions. For the global buckling, it should be equivalent to the orthotropic plate firstly, and then list the formula of conservation of energy. We should suppose deflection formula which cnforms with conditions, so as to deduce the formula of global buckling strength. Introduce the concept of interactive buckling,and summarizes the achievements.(2) According to research ideas of plate’s boundary conditions in I-beam, through a great number of finite element analysis(FEA), we can study on the accurate boundary conditions when the I-beam with straight corrugated steel webs occur local buckling so that the modifier formula of global buckling can be put forward. We can apply this approach into the research of curved corrugated steel webs and generate the different parametric model so as to study on the effects of radius and arc length on shear buckling strength of curved corrugated steel webs. We compared the theoretical results through FEA and straight formula to analyse the formula of global buckling of curved corrugated steel webs.(3) We generated global buckling formula of I-beam with straight corrugated steel webs with FEA. On the basis of shear buckling strength formula of straight corrugated steel webs, we made further study on global buckling formula of curved corrugated steel webs. With the different models of dimension parameter and parametric analysis, change laws of curved I-beam with corrugated steel webs shear buckling strength were studied on.(4) With shear buckling strength formula of corrugated steel webs and the results of other researchers, we studied on all-phase shear buckling strength of I-beam with corrugated steel webs and geerated more accurate all-phase shear buckling strength formula. According to the all-phase straight strength formula, summarize all-phase shear buckling strength formula of curved corrugated steel webs. We made nonlinear analysis on curved I-beam with corrugated steel webs with FEA and studied the effects of defect size on the ultimate load. Comparing the difference of load-displacement curve between global and local bucklings, study the similarities and differences between them.
