With the increasing product demand of electric drive industry, automatic control and ap pliance motor control areas, the modern motor control technology is also becoming increasi ngly important. And accompanied by the development of high-power switching devices, high-performance integrated circuits and magnetic materials, exchange more and more speed contr ol system to the development of efficient high-performance, high cost-effective AC motor us ed in more and more on many occasions, but the traditional microprocessor, such as SIME NS C508, TOSHIBA88CH47 series in the realization of control, because their features do no t have a strong directive to deal with slow (μs-level), multiplication and division cycle of o ver-used in the external circuit, such as data conversion shortcomings slow, which making th e performance of electrical servo system is not adequate to play.DSP digital signal processor emergence as a servo motor digital control system has injected new vigor, especially Texas Instruments to meet the complex digital control of industrial motors designed to meet the needs TMS320C240X series DSP chip will be high-speed DSP signal processing capacity and to optimize the motor control peripheral circuits specially designed set in one, can better deal with the issue of motor control. The research of the motor servo system to TI produced TMS320LF2402 DSP core to control the device with control and high precision, strong anti-interference ability and the advantages of lower cost, for high-performance drive control system to provide reliable high-performance signal processing and hardware support and the exchange control system in the frequency has been applied. This paper put forward a new speed control system for Brushless D.C. Motor based on the TI Company's product TMS320LF240X. Firstly, the theory about Brushless D.C. Motor is introduced. After that, many control strategies are concerned, especially in emphasizing the double close loop control strategy. And then hardware architecture, characteristic and applications of TMS320LF240X and the driver IR2130 are introduced. At the end of this paper, we introduce every part of this control system in detail, such as current detection, position and speed detection, generation of the PWM wave. In addition, precision of speed measurement is discussed..
