Research On Technology Of Reactive Power Compensation In Low Voltage Network

With the development of Science,the technology of reactive power compensation play a large role in power system such as power generation, substation, power supply and send. It has been widely used in renewable energy generation, industrial production, electronic communication and other fields, becoming an indispensable part in people's life.Based on analyzing situations of current reactive power compensation system and principles of reactive power compensation, a topology of reactive power compensation device was presented and a kind of reactive power compensation system was researched and designed in this paper. It can continuously adjusting capacitance for power capacitors when using PWM technology and include main circuit and controlling circuit. The selection of three-phase sources, determination of breaker, and calculation of circuit parameter are included in the process of designing main circuit. Technology of PWM was used in designing controlling circuit to control the triggering angle of thyristors and realize the varying voltage and capacity of capacitors . Controlling circuit mainly includes power circuit , sampling circuit , filter circuit , driving circuit and protective circuit of capacitor.Conclusions are got through simulation experiments: this reactive power compensation system overcomes the traditional devices'disadvantage which use perceptual reactive cover capacitive reactive to produce adjustable capacitive reactive ,it improves the status that parts of existing reactive power compensation devices can be switched grouping-and-grading and don't have the ability of continuously varying capacitance of capacitors.
