Since the earthquake of Wenchuan, in order to protect the minors far away from hurt in the earthquakes and other emergencies, "classification of seismic construction standards " has been adjusted to improve some buildings' category seismic focus by the general maximum security. Some primary and secondary school buildings which have been built were not satisfied with the existing seismic design levels of earthquake so that the identification and reinforcement of the school buildings which were in risks was an urgent work. Some primary and secondary schools used by U or L-plane and other irregular shapes, some with side corridors, such as single-span frame structure on the seismic negative. Traditional methods can not effectively solve these problems of irregular schools under earthquake occurred in the eccentric turn, structural redundancyæ—¥edundancy and other security risks.Isolated system is a combination system that rubber bearings and friction sliding bearings are combined in some way through reasonable match. The two traditional isolation techniques achieve better isolation effect through playing their respective advantages and overcoming their shortcomings.In this paper, the level of the corresponding hysteresis curves and skeleton curves has been got through experimental study under the level of vertical load. Through the analysis of hysteresis curves to analyze the stiffness of friction sliding bearings. The parameters the bearings as isolated buildings isolation layer was provided.In this paper, an L-type school building and a high school building were looked as gauge study to explore the use of isolation after the shock effect of strengthening technology and the characteristics of seismic response. Using finite element analysis software SAP2000, the seismic response of without using isolation technology, all use of lead rubber bearing Isolation system and combined Isolation system seismic response of buildings was analyzed.The results show that the full rubber isolation structure and composite structure of isolation structures can reduce the translational and torsional response under earthquake. The angular velocity of the top story of the isolated structure is about one tenth of the non-isolated structure, and it is nearly equal between the rubber bearings and composite isolation structure.In fact, composite isolated structures in reducing the dynamic response of building peace is better than foll-rubber bearing isolation structure, but not as good as the reverse effect of the structure of all Rubber Bearing isolation. The interlayer displacement of the top story is only one twentieth of the non-isolated structure by using the elastomeric system for the teaching building which the height exceeds seismic code limit.It's safety to use seismic isolation to reinforce buildings, so that it's worthy of further research and develop applications.
