This thesis is divided into two parts, the first part is focus on the synthesis and characterization of peptide fiber, peptide fiber/precious metals complex, peptide fiber /transition metal oxides complex. The second part is focus on the assembling the graphene oxide and single layered Co-Al hydroxide as electrode for supercapacitors. And the mechanism in the assembling process and the electrochemical properties of composite were also studied.The first part, two types of peptide molecules were synthesis on the optimal conditions. The rigid of fiber peptides and the peptide fiber growth kinetics were also studied. Then, the best condition for the synthesis of peptide fiber/precious metals complex and transition metal oxide/peptides fiber were studied. Finally, the growth of cobalt oxide on the peptide fiber surface in situ has been studied.Results:1. Two types of peptide fiber were obtained;2. Peptide fiber/precious metals composite was obtained;3. Linear cobalt oxide nano-arrays using peptide fibers as template was obtained.The second part, the single layered cobalt-aluminum hydroxide and the graphene oxide were successful assembly. And the role of the surface charge in layered self-assembly process was also studied. Finally, the electrochemical property of this composite was studied. The specific capacitance of composite electrode can reach nearly l000F/g and showed well cycling performance in more than 6,000 charge-discharge cycle and this data reached the world advanced level. This assembly method that using surface charge of two single atom layered materials as electrode for supercapacitor is the world's first. Results:1. Graphene oxide based electrode for supercapacitor was obtained;2. The electrochemical property of graphene oxide and single layered Co-Al layered double hydroxide composite was studied.
