The Research And Application Of Rough Set Theory In Power Plant Operation Optimization

Power plant operation optimization is a complex systems engineering and it is an important method to keep the unit operating safely and economically. Until now, many noduses have been left unsolved such as decision of optimal target value and optimization operation guide. It is of great significance to know how to accurately determine the power unit operation run target in order to guide the rational optimization. With the repid development of the power industry in our country, the integration level of information in power plants will be higher and higher. Large quantity of information which reflects the condition of unit performance is provided by power plant data. Making use of data mining to tread and apply these precious information resources, which will have the important and realistic meaning to operation optimization and economical efficiency, stability, reliability.Rough set theory is provides by Z.Pawlak in 1982., which is a very useful math theory in processing the non-accurate. Under the premise of maintain invariability of the classified ability, without pre-setting the number description of certain characteristics or attributes but directly from a given set of a description of the problem, the theory can analyze and process the non-accurate, non-integrity and inconsistent data, the mine latent knowledge and uncover latency rule. In this paper, we proposed a method based on data mining of rough sets theory to optimizing operation, combined data mining and operation optimization, we induced data mining technology of rough set to operation optimization process. With data mining based on rough set, we can get the important point by attributes reduction and optimal target value by association rule.
