Crawler cranes is one of non-replaceable hoisting crane in construction of engineer project with lots of advantage such as large hoisting payload, operating & working with load, less pressure & much more job flexibility & so on. With highly rapid development of economy national infrastructure have been larger & larger, the quality of material needing lift becomes more & more, also the hoisting height is higher & higher, crawler cranes have its obvious advantages in the whole market with large market capacity.Hoisting system is one of the most important subsystem of crawler crane. And its dynamic characteristics is directly related to the whole machine operating stability. Taking a company's 450t crawler cranes for the study, we will here discuss the product's dual synchronous hoisting system control method, proposed using fuzzy self-tuning PID control strategy. In order for depth study the dynamic characteristics of dual synchronous hoisting control system, we have do modeling and simulation and experimental study of hydraulic system & control system.Dual synchronous hoisting control system involves many fields such as hydraulic, mechanical and control and so on, and each subsystem are very complex & difficult to assess using traditional method. We will take vantage of MATLAB/Simulink and AMESim software in simulation and hydraulic in this thesis, joint two software together to establish a joint Dual synchronous hoisting control system simulation model. During the hydraulic control system modeling, in order to reflecting the vehicle performance we establish HCD modeling to variable displacement motor of hydraulic system & hydraulic load control valve. Compared with the samples curve it verifies the correctness of the model. Through joint simulation it shows that the operation performance of control system to dual hoisting mechanism which using fuzzy self-tuning PID control algorithm is stable and can meet the system requirements.To verify correctness of the dual hoisting mechanism and the feasibility of control method, the project team have dome experiment study of the 450t crawler crane hoist system. Through protocolling experiment proposal, doing large amount of experiments, file out & analyzed of the experimental data it is verified the control system model and the hydraulic system model is correct, and at the mean time Dual synchronous hoisting control system work & operate steadily, which proved control strategy is reasonable.Research provide theoretical basis & experimental evidence for optimization & design of synchronous control system in dual hoisting mechanism of crawler crane, proved that technicians of United simulation has a wide range of applications in hydraulic crawler cranes and control system.Key words:Crawler cranes, hydraulic, hoisting system, synchronous control, simulation, fuzzy control, self-tuning PID...
