With the development of microelectronic technology, electron control technology has been widely adopted in mechanical engineering. The hydraulic control technology and electronic control technology are combined in this research. In traditional on-board steering system, the sensitivity can't be adjusted according to working conditions and work efficiency is low. The servo system based on electro-hydraulic proportional control strategy is employed to investigate the solutions to the problem. The design in this study is of great significant in practice to improve the efficiency in steering operation and reduce the work intensity since the design of steering system in this paper is non-linear, and the sensitivity can be adjusted according to working conditions.The first chapter summarizes different ways of on-board steering and carries on a brief introduction on the domestic and foreign research situation about on-board steering system, then the chief content and target of the research is determined.In chapter two, the components of the steering system, the characteristics and requirements of the steering system is determined. The overall design plan of the steering electron system in shovel loader is developed.The theoretical base of the whole study is in chapter three. Firstly it introduces the work principle of steering hydraulic element and derives the transfer function of proportional depressurize valve and flow enlarge valve, then further derives transfer function of steering control system which is consisted of flow enlarge valve controlled by proportional depressurize valve. This chapter provides mathematical base for further controller simulation study of loader steering electric control system.Chapter 4 is mainly about design of electric control system. It provides suitable singlechip micro controller and A/D converter for steering electric control system, and designs signal acquisition amplifier for sensor and PWM power driver amplifier for proportional depressurize valve as well as power supply voltage regulator, frequency circuit, anti-jamming design of the hardware and hardware of electric control system.Chapter 5 is mainly about the design of controller in steering electric control system. Based on the analysis of the system, loader steering electric control system is a non-linear and multi-disturbance system. This study applies PID control method combined with fuzzy control method to control the parameters of steering electric control system. This chapter introduces characteristics and principle of fuzzy control and PID control, then designs a characteristic adjusted fuzzy PID controller according to the design process of fuzzy controller and requirement of this system. It provides control basis for simulation of steering electric system of fuzzy PID controller in following text.Simulation for the system is in Chapter 6.According to simulation curve, fuzzy PID controller has little difference in response time with traditional PID controller. However, with the addition of fuzzy control, overshoot is deeply reduced and the stable time is greatly shortened. When control signal is changed and external interference is added, fuzzy controller can adjust the PID control parameter rapidly, which make the steering system working in best situation. This system corrects the defect that control sensitivity can not be adjusted to working conditions, greatly promotes working efficiency in steering process and reduces operation intensity. The control performance of steering system is extraordinary promoted.Chapter seven is the summary of the whole paper.The research conclusion in this paper basically achieves the adjusted control sensitivity of shovel loader, which has great significance to improve the efficiency of steering work and reduces the work intensity of operators. Meanwhile, it provides reference for the development of steering control system in shovel loader in the future.
