During the few years, with the rapid development of our economy, the car ownership is increasing. This has not only brought unprecedented prosperity of the road transport industry, but also brought serious safety problems. That strengthening the management of vehicles and paying attention to the vehicle safety inspection has been an important problem which should to be solved by the whole society, especially by the public security department and transportation sector.Tire test uses a large, high - speed testing equipment. In order to ensure the test go well .the equipment must work stably, and the structural system must have good static and dynamic characteristics. The properties of this equipment directly influence the safety and reliability of the tire test - bed which is with high speed and high load. This article puts forward a design of tire test. This design analysised the tire test using mechanism design and finite element analysis which included static analysis and modal analysis. It also analysised the influence of different structures of crankshaft on the intensity of the test . Through the function analysis of tire test determination , it confirms that the structure adopts I-steel bottom and the installation of tire takes swing arm structure. This paper includes geometric model and finite element model of the test﹑finite element calculation and Static strength analysis of the tire test and the modal analysis of the tire test by CATIA.The research in this paper, it provides a strong theoretical basis for its previous design and retrofit by establishing a reasonable finite element analysis model for the tire test-bed, to solve the problem of accurately reflecting the stress distribution of the test-bed of the tires in the situation of no actual test values. By the modal analysis of the tire test-bed, it determined the tires of frequencies and modal shape. In order to avoid its in the process of using external incentives frequency when designed and improved, and also can find the position of lack of stiffness and then improve the detecting precision. The research of this paper can provide examples and reference for other types of engineering structure's early design and analysis.
